Job Description

This onsite role in Fort Worth, TX sits on the Sensor Fusion team, focusing on prototyping and integrating AI and ML enabled applications for advanced fighters, while working closely with customers and cross‑functional groups to deliver Combat Identification solutions.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will leverage your expertise in C++, C#, and Python to prototype and integrate AI/ML applications and information fusion algorithms. You will contribute to the development of cutting edge Combat Identification capabilities and ensure seamless integration into world class aircraft platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Prototype and integrate applications and algorithms across AI/ML, information fusion, and electronic warfare domains using C++, C#, and Python.
  • Develop and integrate advanced Combat Identification solutions for the most capable fighters in operation.
  • Collaborate closely with customers and cross‑functional teams to turn capabilities into deployed software solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or related field).
  • Experience with large codebases and modern software tools (Git, CI/CD).
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages (C++, C#, Python).
  • Experience with software development and testing (unit and system testing).
  • Professional experience implementing AI/ML algorithms using common frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn).

Security and Eligibility

This position requires a government security clearance, and you must be a US citizen to be considered.

Clearance level: Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years.

Location and Work Arrangement

Onsite full-time work at a Lockheed Martin facility in Fort Worth, Texas.

Work Schedule

Schedule for this position is a 4x10 hour day pattern, three days off per week. Lockheed Martin also supports alternate schedules to provide additional flexibility beyond the standard 40 hours per week.

  • Experience leading a technical effort or end-to-end feature

  • Front‑end and back‑end development experience
  • Sensor fusion, radar, electronic warfare, or signal processing background
