Software Engineer (Secret Clearance)

Responsibilities

• Design and implement new Java applications and maintain existing Java codebases
• Support software testing and resolve issues across multiple baselines
• Perform in-depth analysis and provide technical support for systems software, solving complex problems
• Translate system specifications into operating system level applications
• Assist with design, coding, benchmark testing, debugging, and documentation
• Interface with other system support groups
• Generate software design artifacts and participate in design and code reviews

Requirements

• A final Secret clearance is required for consideration
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Physics, or related technical field
• Experience with at least one modern language such as C++, C, C#, or Java, with a preference for C++
• Knowledge or experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
• Knowledge or experience with a Version Control System (Git)
