Software Engineer - Level 5

Northrop Grumman Space Sector seeks a Software Engineer - Level 5 to develop and sustain mission operational software and new capabilities, based in Redondo Beach, CA or Aurora, CO.

Responsibilities

• Develop and sustain several mission operational software product lines, as well as develop new capabilities.
• Join a large team comprising of multiple subsystems, each with a specialized software focus.
• Provide innovative solutions to complex issues in support of our national security mission.

Requirements

• 12 years of relevant experience with Bachelor's degree; 10 years of relevant experience with Master's degree; 8 years of relevant experience with PhD; an additional 4 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree
• Must have an active SCI at time of application OR an active TS clearance at time of application with the ability to obtain SCI within a reasonable period of time as determined by the company prior to start date
• Advanced Object-Oriented programming skills
• Proficiency with C++ programming
• Knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux operating system
