Job Description
Lead Full Stack Software Engineer at Booz Allen Hamilton responsible for designing, building, integrating, and deploying new capabilities in a cybersecurity context, including agentic AI software, with involvement in greenfield development and rapid AI-enabled prototyping.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, integrate, and deploy new capabilities.
- Execute greenfield software development and integrate capabilities with industry leading cybersecurity tools end to end, aligned with the team roadmap.
- Leverage experience with AI coding tools to scaffold, implement, review, and test new software and features rapidly.
- Communicate effectively and work independently against ambiguous requirements.
- Distill complex requirements into actionable engineering tasks, design solutions, estimate complexity, sequence work, and implement capability.
- Contribute to a high velocity engineering team, moving at the pace of technology.
- Define done as production ready software.
- Deliver next generation cybersecurity products.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience with Python, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (for example, React).
- 7+ years of experience with data storage technologies such as SQL, Document, or Graph.
- 7+ years of experience with cloud and containers, such as AWS, Docker, or Kubernetes.
- 4+ years of experience with system to system integration development, such as API.
- 4+ years of experience deploying, configuring, and operating applications and tools.
- Experience with LLM, Agentic AI, RAG, or MCP implementations.
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
- Bachelor's degree.

Compensation
- Projected annual salary range: USD 112,800 to 257,000, influenced by location, education, knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, contract affordability, and organizational requirements. This range reflects typical compensation for the role.

Work model
