Software Engineer III, Developer AI, Payments Platform

This Software Engineer III role on Google's Payments Platform, Developer AI track, centers on building AI enabled payments technologies and supporting Google Pay. The position is onsite in Mountain View, California.

Responsibilities

• Write product or system development code.
• Lead or participate in design reviews with peers and stakeholders to select among available technologies.
• Review code produced by other developers and provide feedback to enforce best practices, including style, version control, accuracy, testability, and efficiency.
• Contribute to documentation and educational content, updating it as the product or program evolves and in response to user feedback.
• Triage product or system issues and debug, track, and resolve by analyzing root causes and assessing impact on hardware, network, or service operations and quality.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Two years of software development experience in one or more programming languages, or one year of experience with an advanced degree.

US compensation ranges from USD 147,000 to 211,000 per year, with a target bonus of 15 percent, plus equity and benefits.
