Job Description
Raytheon’s Test Solutions Engineering team in Tucson, AZ is hiring for a Software Engineer I role supporting advanced Windows-based testing solutions.
Responsibilities
- Develop and integrate object-oriented software applications using C# and C++ in Microsoft Visual Studio
- Troubleshoot and debug software to improve functionality and reliability
- Partner with multidisciplinary engineering teams to develop and implement solutions
- Work within established software development lifecycles, including Agile and Waterfall
- Develop and derive requirements for software applications and systems
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in STEM completed prior to start date
- Experience with software development, testing, or integration using C, C++, Python, or Visual Basic
- Experience with Windows operating systems and Microsoft Visual Studio
Preferred Qualifications
- Basic understanding of software development principles and object-oriented design
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic environment
- Experience with Agile or Waterfall development lifecycles

Security Clearance and U.S. Person Requirements
- DoD Clearance: Secret
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance required prior to start date
- U.S. citizenship required (only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance)
- Ability to obtain INTERIM U.S. government issued security clearance required prior to start date
- DCSA Consolidated Adjudication Services (DCSA CAS) handles and adjudicates the security clearance process
