Job Description

Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is seeking a full-time Software Engineer to design, test, and deliver software that powers complex digital ecosystem capabilities, spanning both user interfaces and backend systems. This role operates within a DevSecOps framework and requires US citizenship with the ability to obtain a Secret-level government security clearance. Based in Fort Worth, TX with hybrid work options, the position blends technical execution with direct engagement with internal and external customers.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, test, and deliver UI/UX and backend software for complex digital ecosystem capabilities.
  • Develop and integrate features using DevSecOps tools and methodologies.
  • Engage with internal and external customers to gather requirements and provide progress updates.
  • Write clean, scalable code in Java, Python, and other relevant languages.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Java, Python, or other modern programming languages.
  • Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, React, and/or Streamlit.
  • Experience with databases and/or CI/CD pipelines.
  • U.S. citizenship required.
  • Ability to obtain a government security clearance at the Secret level.

  • Schedule for this position: 4x10 hour days, 3 days off per week.
