Software Engineer - AI Trainer

DataAnnotation is seeking a Software Engineer - AI Trainer to contribute to training AI models from a remote-friendly setup based in Ottawa, Ohio. This contract role focuses on designing coding challenges, delivering clear, well-documented code with explanations, and evaluating AI-generated solutions to guide model improvements, all with a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Design and tackle diverse coding problems used to train AI systems.
• Write clear, high-quality code samples with detailed explanations.
• Evaluate AI-generated code for correctness, performance, and readability.
• Provide actionable feedback that informs the next generation of AI models.

Requirements

• Fluent English communication, native or bilingual proficiency.
• Proficiency in at least one of the following: JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, C, C#, C++, React, Go, Java, Kotlin, or Swift.
• Excellent writing and grammar skills.
• Bachelor's degree completed or in progress.
• Previous experience as a Software Developer, Coder, Software Engineer, or Programmer is preferred.
