Software Engineer - AI Trainer

DataAnnotation offers a remote, contract Software Engineer - AI Trainer role focused on training AI models through designing and solving coding problems, writing code, and evaluating AI-generated code.

Responsibilities

• Design and solve a range of coding challenges used to train AI systems, ensuring clarity, relevance, and practicality for model development.
• Write clean, high quality code snippets accompanied by thorough explanations to support training data quality.
• Evaluate AI-generated code for correctness, performance, and readability, providing actionable feedback for model refinement.
• Contribute insights that shape the next generation of AI models by informing training materials and evaluation criteria.

Requirements

• Fluency in English with strong writing and grammar abilities.
• Proficiency in at least one of these languages or frameworks: JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, C, C#, C++, React, Go, Java, Kotlin, or Swift.
• A bachelor’s degree, either completed or in progress.
• Previous experience as a Software Developer, Coder, Software Engineer, or Programmer is preferred.
