Job Description

Software Engineer position onsite in Lexington Park, MD, focused on delivering end-to-end software and systems in a fast, agile environment.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver end-to-end solutions in an agile setting to resolve complex problems.
  • Lead software and system development from concept to production readiness.
  • Continuously learn new tools and techniques and identify needed system improvements.
  • Collaborate with clients to address their toughest challenges using modern architectures, tools, and technologies.
  • Ensure the team's solution aligns with current architecture and operating environment while supporting future functionality and enhancements.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years designing, modifying, developing, writing, and implementing software applications.
  • 2+ years of software development experience using languages and stacks such as C#, C, C++, .NET, or JavaScript.
  • Experience with Agile methodology.
  • Experience writing source code for new applications or enhancing code samples for existing applications.
  • Experience using back-end and front-end languages to deliver complete solutions.
  • Experience solving complex problems in a collaborative team environment.
  • Secret clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree or 5+ years of software engineering experience in lieu of a degree.

You Have

  • 2+ years of experience designing, modifying, developing, writing, and implementing software programming applications.
  • 2+ years of software development experience with languages or stacks including C#, C, C++, .NET, or JavaScript.
  • Experience with Agile methodology.
  • Experience writing source code for new applications or enhancing code samples for existing applications.
  • Experience using back-end and front-end languages to develop complete solutions.
  • Experience creating solutions to complex problems within a collaborative team environment.
  • Secret clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree or 5+ years of software engineering experience in lieu of a degree.

Nice If You Have

  • Experience with Java, React, NodeJS, or Database.
  • Ability to acquire client requirements and resolve workflow problems through automation optimization.
  • Ability to work with automated testing tools to perform testing and maintenance.
  • Top Secret clearance.

Clearance

  • Applicants will undergo a security investigation for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Compensation

  • Projected compensation range is $69,300.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD). Salary is determined by location, education, skills, experience, and contract-specific requirements.
