Software Engineer

The Software Engineer role at Viral Slice offers a hybrid, Powell, Ohio based position focused on building and refining the digital infrastructure that underpins sales funnels, websites, automations, and customer journeys. The position provides a monthly compensation of USD 3,500 to 4,000.

Responsibilities

• Develop and sustain high converting sales funnels, landing pages, and microsites
• Identify and fix code, integration, or UI/UX issues promptly
• Build automations (email, CRM, lead flows) using tools like Zapier, Make, or custom code
• Enhance site performance, functionality, and responsive design
• Collaborate with marketers, designers, and content teams to realize concepts
• Manage custom scripts, webhooks, and back-end workflows
• Work with modern frameworks such as React, Vue, Next.js and CMS platforms like Shopify, WordPress, Webflow

Requirements

• 1–5 years of coding experience, internships or strong portfolio projects accepted
• Proficient in writing clean, scalable HTML, CSS, JavaScript (and related frameworks)
• Familiar with Git, Node.js, REST APIs, Firebase, and similar tools
• Ability to move quickly without breaking things and to fix issues when they arise
• Strong problem-solving skills and a high degree of intellectual agility
• Passion for conversion optimization, automation, and digital performance
• Self-starter with a proactive mindset and a desire to grow rapidly
