Software Developer, Senior

Booz Allen's Fort Belvoir, VA onsite team is seeking a senior full-stack Software Developer to own end-to-end software and system development, shape architecture, and deliver production-ready solutions within an agile environment. The role centers on solving complex client challenges by applying modern architectural approaches, tools, and technologies, while ensuring solutions align with current operating contexts and future enhancements.

Responsibilities

• Develop software and systems from vision to production-ready state.
• Deliver complete end-to-end solutions to address problems in a fast, agile setting.
• Master new tools and techniques and identify improvements to the system.
• Help clients overcome difficult challenges using the latest architectural approaches, tools, and technologies.
• Ensure the team's solution considers the current architecture and operating environment as well as future functionality.
• Collaborate with the team to shape systems for improved outcomes.

Requirements

• 3+ years of software programming experience with object-oriented languages, including Java and Python
• 1+ years of experience developing the Android Tactical Assault Kit (ATAK) software development kit
• 1+ years of experience with the Tactical Assault Kit (TAK) ecosystem
• 1+ years of experience developing native Android applications
• Experience profiling UI, memory, and concurrency on Android
• Experience with on-device database management using SQLite
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
• HS diploma or GED

Clearance

Compensation

Salary range: USD 86,800 - 198,000 per year.
