Software Developer (.NET / C# / Web Applications)
Job Description
Concordant, LLC seeks a hybrid Software Developer to join its Web Application Development team in Columbia, South Carolina. The role focuses on .NET and C# web applications and the integration of legacy systems into a unified platform for mission-critical client deployments.
Responsibilities
- Develop user interfaces and web services using Microsoft Visual Studio, C#, ASP.NET, ASP.NET MVC, jQuery, Angular, PrimeNG, .NET, and MS SQL Server
- Engage in code development, unit testing, source control, build management, integration testing, and deployment activities
- Maintain and update legacy applications as they are integrated into the broader platform
- Collaborate with fellow software engineers and technical leaders to understand subsystem specifications and propose efficient development approaches
- Coordinate with representatives from other industry groups to determine data interchange formats, APIs, messaging strategies, and hardware or VM requirements
- Design and document subsystems and system components
- Implement, debug, and refine subsystems and components
- Write and execute tests for subsystems and components
- Participate in integrated test sessions on test and production servers
- Assess and communicate implications of system level decisions on subsystems and components
- Clarify requirements and capabilities of components within the context of the overall system and project
- Support the team’s technical infrastructure, including repository, build, and testing systems, under guidance
- Share technology and expertise within the organization and mentor junior engineers
- Work collaboratively to ensure project success and serve as a key contributor on the Web Application Development team maintaining existing applications
Requirements
- 3+ years designing and implementing medium to large scale software systems using .NET architectures
- 3+ years building web based software with multi tier architectures, dynamic content, scalable approaches, and strong security
- 3+ years of experience with C# and ASP.NET
- 2+ years of experience with jQuery
- 2+ years of experience with WCF

About the Role
The team develops, implements, maintains, and supports multiple mission critical applications. The successful candidate will contribute to delivering applications for an Early Care and Education program area, including maintaining legacy software as it integrates into a larger unified platform.

Compensation
Salary range: USD 76,800 – 80,640 per year
