Job Description
Join HCL AMERICA INC. in the United States (onsite) and work on practical, business-facing data solutions. This role supports reliable data pipelines and applications using Snowflake, SQL, and Python, with a focus on performance, accuracy, and maintainable code. Salary range: USD 61,000 - 99,000 per year.
What you’ll do
- Design and develop Snowflake data models and pipelines aligned with business requirements
- Write complex SQL queries to support data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes
- Build and maintain Python scripts to automate workflows and handle data processing tasks
- Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth integration of developed solutions into existing systems
- Troubleshoot and debug code to maintain system performance and data accuracy
- Stay current with industry best practices and trends across Snowflake, SQL, and Python
Skills and experience needed
- Proficiency in the Snowflake data warehousing platform
- Strong SQL skills for data extraction and manipulation
- Experience with Python for scripts and automation
- Understanding of data modeling concepts and ETL processes
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders
Tools you’ll work with
You’ll use Snowflake, SQL, and Python, along with MS SQL and ETL workflows.
Certification preference
SnowPro Core Certification in Snowflake is preferred, but not mandatory.
