ServiceNow SAM Senior Developer

Netbuilder seeks a ServiceNow SAM Senior Developer to optimize SAM Pro, shape the software asset management strategy, and deliver data driven insights across the enterprise. This onsite role is based in Baltimore, MD, with 1-2 days on site per week.

Responsibilities

• Architect and tune ServiceNow SAM Pro to track software assets and ensure compliance.
• Develop and automate workflows for license reconciliation, entitlement management, and reporting.
• Create integrations using REST and SOAP APIs and Integration Hub with systems such as SCCM, JAMF, and various SaaS platforms.
• Monitor license consumption, identify opportunities to reduce costs, and maintain audit readiness.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to align SAM processes with industry best practices.
• Develop dashboards and reports that translate data into actionable insights for stakeholders.
• Troubleshoot, optimize performance, and scale the platform as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum five years of ServiceNow development experience.
• At least three years working specifically with SAM Pro.
• Solid knowledge of software licensing models including user, device, subscription, and SaaS.
• Experience integrating ServiceNow with enterprise systems such as SCCM and cloud tools.
• Hands-on CMDB design experience and data governance.
• Strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills.
