ServiceNow BCM Developer

Remote US ServiceNow BCM Developer role focused on delivering automated Business Continuity Management (BCM) solutions through configuration, integrations, and secure development.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and customize ServiceNow for Business Continuity Management (BCM), including plan templates and lifecycle automation.
• Build and enhance BCM features such as Business Impact Analysis (BIA) components, recovery strategies, dependencies, exercise workflows, and data capture.
• Create and implement automation using Flow Designer logic, Workflow Editor, UI policies, business rules, and structured data schemas.
• Develop integrations using REST/SOAP; ensure CMDB alignment and maintainable data models, including role-based access and security requirements.
• Deliver high-quality solutions through unit testing, validating configuration, supporting UAT and releases, and remediating defects until successful completion.

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on development experience in ServiceNow, preferably within IRM/GRC/BCM related modules.
• Strong proficiency with Flow Designer, Workflow Editor, Business Rules, Script Includes, and Glide scripting; experience with Catalog Items and ServiceNow forms.
• Integration experience using REST/SOAP, plus work with MID server and CMDB alignment (or closely related platform alignment work).
• Knowledge of BCM concepts including BIAs, continuity plans, dependencies, RTO/RPO, exercises, and recovery strategies, translating lifecycle needs into technical system behavior.
• Required certifications: CSA (Certified System Administrator) and CAD (Certified Application Developer); IRM/BCM micro certifications preferred.

• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, and technical design sessions to drive continuous improvement.
• Support UAT and release activities and provide clear documentation and knowledge transfer.
