Senior Software Engineer – Army T&E
Job Description
DS2 is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to develop data driven Army test and evaluation software on site in Niceville, FL, with an annual salary range of $100,000 to $120,000.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, deployment, and demonstration of feature rich applications
- Research and build solutions that support evaluation technologies used in the Army's rapid acquisition and logistics initiatives
- Continuously learn new technologies and programming tools to keep the team well equipped and prepared to deliver
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in software engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field plus at least 10 years of experience
- Proficient in one or more of Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript
- Experience with web frameworks and libraries such as React, FastAPI, Pydantic, and SQLAlchemy
- Self motivated, energetic developer with strong time management and the ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
- Collaborates with teammates both virtually and in person to plan projects, assist with issues, and present solutions to clients
- U.S. citizen eligible for a U.S. government background investigation

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience building applications that present complex workflows through clear, intuitive visualizations
- Portfolio or examples of code or applications you have built that can be reviewed
- Familiarity with AI assisted software development workflows
- Technical certifications such as Scrum, Microsoft, Google Developer, or other recognized credentials
