Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Contribute software solutions for Strategic Spectrum Solutions to address a range of technical challenges on high-impact projects.
  • Develop tactical software for software defined radio, digital signal processing, constellation simulation, and command and control applications to meet evolving warfighter needs.
  • Integrate open and modular hardware and software components within RF systems.
  • Create software to support integration and control of waveform processing applications.
  • Assist Integration & Test to identify and resolve software defects, performance issues, and integration challenges.
  • Collaborate with system engineers to ensure alignment with architecture and requirements, and to enhance testing and validation processes.
  • Support the current software architecture using C++, Linux scripting, and Qt GUI development, with Git for configuration management.
  • Participate in daily scrums and other weekly agile ceremonies to maintain sprint progress and transparency.
  • Coordinate with Product Owner, Software Architect, and Chief Engineer to support customer design reviews and milestone events.

Requirements

  • Security Clearance: Top Secret required prior to start.
  • Experience developing full stack software using Object Oriented Programming.
  • Experience with modern DevSecOps tools and practices, including GitLab CI/CD.
  • Proficiency in developing automated unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
  • Experience working with Linux operating systems, including basic system administration with an emphasis on Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
  • Proven ability to learn unfamiliar technologies and domains in a fast-paced Agile development environment.
  • Education: Master’s degree.

Work Schedules

Lockheed Martin offers a variety of alternate work schedules. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over five days to condensed arrangements that provide additional time away from the office, in addition to Paid Time Off benefits.
