Job Description
Location: New York, NY (hybrid) | Salary: USD 148,000 - 185,000 per year

This seniors role focuses on building and owning innovative applications that scale with the business. You will partner with product managers, designers, data scientists, and fellow engineers to deliver dependable, high-performance solutions while shaping roadmaps and architecture grounded in both technology and business needs.
Responsibilities
- Help define roadmaps and architectural direction aligned with technical strategy and business priorities
- Unblock blockers, provide support, communicate clearly, and secure cross‑team buy‑in to drive outcomes
- Lead multiPerson projects from concept through successful execution
- Write clean, well-tested, readable, and maintainable code
- Apply Python, Golang, AWS, and AI expertise to deliver robust and scalable solutions
- Participate in code reviews to maintain quality and share knowledge across the team
- Proactively address incidents and participate in on‑call rotations
- Share knowledge through tech talks, mentorship, and promoting engineering best practices
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years of software engineering experience
- Strong background in object oriented programming, preferably Python or Go
- Experience building backend systems for large‑scale distributed environments, including concurrency and NoSQL databases
- Experience with public cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Microsoft Azure
- Proven track record of leading design and launch of multiple components from concept to production
- Excellent oral and written communication, with the ability to collaborate with and influence cross‑functional partners
