Senior Software Engineer
Job Description
Leidos is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for a hybrid role based in Maryland. The position centers on DevSecOps, integration and maintenance of software systems, and analytics across biometric and data-centric architectures. A TS/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a poly is required, with a salary range of USD 107,900 to 195,050 per year.
Responsibilities
- Operate within a DevSecOps framework to ensure end users have reliable access to biometric systems and data.
- Lead the integration, ongoing maintenance, and monitoring of software systems to guarantee continuous availability of technical resources.
- Design, implement, and enhance complex software architectures, including processing-intensive analytics, real-time capabilities, and management information systems.
- Collaborate with Systems Engineers, Software Engineers, Architects, and Operations teams to develop enterprise AFEM (Automated Facial Extraction and Matching) capabilities.
- Contribute to testing, staging, and production deployments to ensure reliability and performance.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of relevant experience or Master’s degree with 6+ years of relevant experience; additional years of experience may substitute for a degree.
- Clearance: Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a Poly.
- Proficiency in C# programming and API development.
- Knowledge of SQL Server, ETL processes, and application-level security.
- Hands-on experience with microservices architectures and logging systems.
