Senior ServiceNow Developer
Job Description
Senior ServiceNow Developer onsite in Washington, DC for a contract engagement with TAJ Wanna Projects LLC, hourly rate USD 55.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and deploy solutions on the ServiceNow platform.
- Maintain and advance service improvements across ITSM, ITFM, HRSD, ITOM, PPM, and SPM.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to elicit requirements and translate them into technical designs.
- Partner with product owners and stakeholders to create requested items and tasks using workflows to align with business needs.
- Document and maintain functional requirements, process flows, and business use cases.
- Perform operational administrative tasks as needed.
- Assist with report configuration and ongoing maintenance.
- Configure and sustain data integrations between ServiceNow and external systems.
- Design and develop ServiceNow forms, tables, and modules.
- Develop workflows to drive approvals and lifecycle processes.
- Create and configure Business Rules, UI Policies, UI Actions, Client Scripts, and ACLs, including advanced scripting and CMS/Service Portal.
- Create and configure Notifications, UI Pages, UI Macros, Script Includes, and Formatters within ServiceNow.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or equivalent work experience.
- ServiceNow CAD or CIS certification highly desired.
- Minimum 5 years hands-on ServiceNow development across ITSM, ITFM, HRSD, ITOM, PPM, and SPM.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and REST APIs.
- Strong problem solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Deep knowledge of implementing ServiceNow architecture and scripting.
- Experience creating update sets and promoting/testing through multiple instances into production.
- Demonstrated knowledge of service management processes, procedures, and ServiceNow.
