Senior Microsoft Business Central Analyst and Developer
Job Description
Experience the flexibility of remote work on impactful Dynamics 365 Business Central projects for an Australian client. This full-time opportunity offers a monthly salary of USD 40,000 to 50,000, a collaborative, cross-functional environment, and ongoing development through exposure to the latest Business Central features and industry best practices. The role focuses on configuring, extending, and supporting Business Central solutions, including requirements gathering, data migration, testing, and driving user adoption. A Bachelor’s degree and at least three years of hands-on experience are required.
Responsibilities
- Lead scoping and analysis sessions to gather requirements and design fit-for-purpose Business Central solutions.
- Configure, customise, and extend Dynamics 365 Business Central to meet business needs.
- Collaborate with IT teams to design technical specifications, integrations, and enhancements.
- Oversee and perform data migration, system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and deployment activities.
- Assist with training sessions and provide post-implementation support to ensure user adoption.
- Support the senior developer on projects, coordinating functional and technical resources to ensure successful outcomes.
- Stay current with the latest Dynamics 365 Business Central features, tools, and industry best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or related discipline.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience implementing and supporting Dynamics 365 Business Central / NAV (on-prem) in a manufacturing industry.
- Strong techno-functional expertise across Finance, Sales, Purchasing, Inventory, and Manufacturing.
- Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and provide practical solutions.
- Experience with CAL and AL development, extensions, integrations, and system customisations; code versioning and lifecycle management with GitHub.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and client-facing skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
- Relevant Microsoft Dynamics 365 certifications preferred.
- Relevant Power Platform (Power Automate) and Dynamics CRM experience desirable.
