Job Description

Senior Full Stack Software Engineer with TS/SCI clearance will work onsite with U.S. Government customers on data collection, analytics, visualization, and user workflow automation. The role emphasizes geospatial data, cloud-based processing, and emerging data science techniques to support national security missions.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement scalable, efficient solutions for mission critical applications.
  • Contribute across the full software development lifecycle, including planning, requirements gathering, design, implementation, testing, deployment, documentation, and ongoing maintenance.
  • Adhere to software standards and processes to deliver high quality, extensible, and maintainable software.
  • Leverage cloud technologies to extract, transform, manipulate, and visualize geospatial and temporal data sets.
  • Develop analytics and derivative data products to help users derive meaningful insights.
  • Take a proactive approach to troubleshooting and issue resolution.
  • Collaborate directly with users across the Intelligence Community and Department of Defense to capture requirements and propose technical solutions.
  • Work with diverse teams of engineers, clients, and users to achieve shared goals.
  • Onsite, full-time work is required.

Requirements

  • U.S. citizenship with an active TS/SCI clearance and willingness to obtain a CI polygraph.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related technology fields.
  • At least 8 years of hands-on software development experience, including design, development, and deployment.
  • Proficiency in Java, Python, or other object-oriented programming languages.
  • Experience extracting, transforming, visualizing, and analyzing large datasets.
  • Proficiency with Linux-based environments.
  • Experience designing and supporting cloud architectures, including AWS and C2S environments.
  • Experience developing and maintaining applications in cloud computing environments.
  • Experience with NoSQL data stores such as Elasticsearch, MongoDB, or similar technologies.
  • Proven ability to lead small engineering teams and work independently as well as collaboratively.
  • Strong problem-solving mindset and adaptability, with the ability to leverage emerging technologies to meet mission challenges.
  • Familiarity with modern software development tools, DevSecOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies.

Pay Transparency

Salary range: USD 137,000 – 228,000 per year. In support of pay transparency, Vantor discloses salary ranges on all U.S. job postings. The starting pay will fall within the disclosed range and is determined by job-related factors, including experience, qualifications, knowledge, skills, geographic location, and market conditions.
