Job Description
Deloitte is seeking a Senior Data Engineer Sr Consultant to design, build, and operationalize scalable healthcare data platforms and integration pipelines across multiple healthcare domains. This role supports the delivery of cloud-based data products using specified technologies and operates under Deloitte’s Project Delivery Talent Model.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and operationalize scalable healthcare data platforms.
- Design and develop integration pipelines across claims, payments, member, provider, eligibility, medical, and pharmacy domains.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience designing healthcare data platforms.
- Deep knowledge of the Cigna Medicare business.
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related IT discipline; or equivalent experience.
- Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.
- Ability to travel 10% on average, based on work performed and client and industry needs.
Technology Stack
The role uses a combination of cloud, data engineering, and workflow tools, including Azure Databricks, PySpark, Python, AWS services, Teradata Vantage, Informatica, Airflow, GitHub, and Azure DevOps.

- Analytical ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks into manageable work products.
- Ability to operate independently or with minimum supervision.
- Excellent written and communication skills.
