Data Engineer-Consultant AI&E

Deloitte’s Data Engineer-Consultant role supports the creation of healthcare data capabilities that enable reliable analytics and integration across complex domains. The position is based in Jericho, NY and is delivered onsite, combining technical engineering work with regular collaboration across engagement and functional stakeholders.

What you’ll do

• Design, develop, and operationalize scalable healthcare data platforms
• Build and implement integration pipelines across claims, payments, member, provider, eligibility, medical, and pharmacy domains
• Coordinate with stakeholders, including regular communication with Engagement Managers (Directors), project team members, and representatives from functional and/or technical teams, and escalate items that require additional attention from engagement management

Core experience and qualifications

• 4+ years experience designing healthcare data platforms
• Deep knowledge of Cigna Medicare business
• Bachelor’s degree (preferred in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related IT discipline) or equivalent experience
• Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
• Travel up to 10% on average, depending on work, clients, and the industries/sectors served

Tools and technologies

Work will involve technologies including Teradata, Databricks, AWS, Informatica, and ETL.
