Senior Data Engineer, CRM

Cheil Dallas is seeking a Senior Data Engineer, CRM to build and own the data environment behind the Samsung Mobile (MX) CRM program. You will connect multiple client data sources, shape data for analysts, and set up a secure Cheil data server on Google Cloud or AWS to support analytics, modeling, and automation.

This hybrid role is based in Plano, TX, and it centers on repeatable data pipelines, governed access, and dependable automation for recurring extracts and reporting feeds.

Key Responsibilities

• Extract data from C360, Tableau, Adobe Analytics, and Adobe Campaign.
• Build repeatable pipelines that prepare data according to the analysts' specifications.
• Design and implement the Cheil CRM data server on Google Cloud or AWS.
• Set up external API access to enable analytics, modeling, and AI tools.
• Define data models, documentation, and access controls.
• Ensure client data handling meets the client’s security and privacy requirements, and lead security reviews with the client.
• Automate recurring extracts, audience counts, and reporting feeds.
• Guide the Junior Data Engineer and review their work.

Requirements

• 6+ years of data engineering experience, ideally with marketing or customer data.
• Advanced Python and SQL.
• Hands-on experience building data platforms on Google Cloud (BigQuery) or AWS (Redshift, S3).
• Experience building pipelines and APIs, including orchestration with Airflow.
• Strong understanding of data governance, security, and privacy.
• Experience with Adobe Campaign, Adobe Analytics, or customer data platforms is a plus.
• Ability to work the hybrid schedule at the agency in Plano, Texas.
