Join Prime Video as a Senior Data Engineer in Seattle, onsite, with a competitive annual salary range of USD 154,600 to 209,100. Responsibilities

  • Solve large-scale data warehousing challenges by applying AWS cloud services to optimize big data processing, data warehouse design, and self-service data access.
  • Drive automation and optimization across DW and ETL maintenance and deployment.
  • Collaborate with business and technical teams on non-standard problems, using creative problem solving to produce actionable data outputs.
  • Develop scalable data processing systems and tools using efficient technologies that handle seasonal spikes.
  • Contribute to day-to-day decision making with data-driven insights that impact the team’s operations.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of data engineering experience
  • Experience with data modeling, warehousing, and building ETL pipelines
  • Experience with SQL
  • Experience in at least one modern scripting or programming language, such as Python, Java, Scala, or NodeJS
  • Experience mentoring team members on best practices
