Responsibilities
- Solve large-scale data warehousing challenges by applying AWS cloud services to optimize big data processing, data warehouse design, and self-service data access.
- Drive automation and optimization across DW and ETL maintenance and deployment.
- Collaborate with business and technical teams on non-standard problems, using creative problem solving to produce actionable data outputs.
- Develop scalable data processing systems and tools using efficient technologies that handle seasonal spikes.
- Contribute to day-to-day decision making with data-driven insights that impact the team’s operations.
Requirements
- 5+ years of data engineering experience
- Experience with data modeling, warehousing, and building ETL pipelines
- Experience with SQL
- Experience in at least one modern scripting or programming language, such as Python, Java, Scala, or NodeJS
- Experience mentoring team members on best practices
