Job Description

Remote contract Senior Full-Stack Application Developer focused on designing, building, and deploying MES applications across local, networked, and cloud environments with cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze business needs and system requirements to translate them into technical specifications
  • Design, develop, test, and deploy full-stack applications using modern languages and frameworks
  • Integrate code, debug, and implement ongoing application enhancements
  • Create and maintain documentation for software development, deployment, and maintenance procedures
  • Collaborate with developers, project managers, and business stakeholders to ensure timely delivery
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices
  • Participate in on-call support to maintain 24/7 application availability

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or 7+ years of relevant development or engineering experience
  • 4-6+ years of hands-on software development experience
  • Strong experience with PL/SQL and Oracle APEX
  • Proficiency with development tools such as Git, Jenkins, or similar
  • Proven ability to work in cross-functional, collaborative environments
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)
  • Database management systems expertise
  • Full-stack or front-end development experience
  • Proficiency with programming languages including SQL-based technologies
  • Experience with cloud platforms and related technologies
  • Knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Experience with CI/CD practices
  • API and web services experience
  • Systems integration experience
  • Software testing and QA, including automated testing
  • Containerization and version control tools
  • Data analysis and troubleshooting skills
