Senior Angular Developer
Job Description
Motion Recruitment is hiring a Senior Angular Developer to help build a cloud-based collaboration platform in Boston, MA (onsite). You will work on interactive, data-driven web applications using Angular 17, TypeScript, RxJS, and Firebase, with a strong emphasis on UI/UX for complex workflows and reactive real-time updates.
What you’ll build
This role focuses on delivering dynamic interfaces and reliable behavior across asynchronous events. You’ll contribute to the architectural decisions and collaborate closely with product, design, and backend teams to shape how collaboration features work in practice.
Responsibilities
- Develop and improve interactive UI features for the web platform
- Manage asynchronous data flows and integrate real-time updates
- Partner with cross-functional teams (product, design, backend) on delivery and implementation
- Participate in code reviews, maintain testing practices, and contribute technical documentation
Requirements
- 6+ years of professional front-end development experience
- Strong expertise with Angular (v8+), with ideal experience in Angular 17
- Proficiency in TypeScript and modern JavaScript (ES6+)
- Experience building data-driven web applications with dynamic UI updates
- Solid understanding of RxJS or NgRX and reactive programming patterns
- Experience with Firebase or similar backend-as-a-service platforms
- Strong ability to handle asynchronous code, API integration, and state management
- Familiarity with RESTful services and real-time data synchronization
- Capability to write clean, maintainable, testable code
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
