SAP Fiori UX Consultant/Developer (Jr.)

CGI Group, Inc. is seeking a Junior SAP Fiori UX Consultant/Developer to support an SAP S/4HANA Greenfield implementation for a major public-sector client, focusing on designing and developing SAP Fiori UX across the full application lifecycle. This role is based in Fairfax, VA with a hybrid work arrangement.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate on building user-friendly SAP Fiori apps within the S/4HANA environment, employing JavaScript, CSS, and HTML5.
• Coordinate with functional and technical stakeholders to analyze requirements and ensure UX designs integrate smoothly with backend processes.
• Contribute to development, performance analysis, testing, debugging, scheduling, execution, monitoring, and issue resolution to maintain optimal application functionality.
• Develop SAP Fiori apps leveraging HTML5 toolkits and related technologies.
• Utilize SAP Gateway Service Builder to define OData entities consumed by external applications through HTTP(S).
• Apply UI design best practices to boost performance and responsiveness.
• Assess customer business operations to validate requirements, scope activities, and suggest process improvements.
• Translate key business requirements into functional SAP applications.
• Create and maintain SAP design and technical specifications, and conduct unit, integration, and release testing.

Requirements

• United States citizenship is required, with completion of CGI's background screening before starting.
• Eligibility to obtain and maintain a DHS/CISA EOD or Public Trust clearance.
• Up to three years of hands-on experience delivering SAP Fiori/UI5 implementations across multiple SAP versions.
• Direct, hands-on development experience.
• Experience designing and building reusable, configurable interfaces and APIs.
• Experience functioning effectively in results-driven, collaborative teams.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of engaging with stakeholders at all management levels.
