Job Description

Aramark is seeking a Salesforce Developer to design, build, and maintain Salesforce applications and provide support for production issues, including off-hours emergency troubleshooting. The role is onsite in Rockville, MD and includes collaboration with client and business teams to translate requirements into reliable Salesforce solutions.

Role Overview

In this position, you will create custom solutions on the Salesforce platform using Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning components. You will also customize Salesforce applications across workflows, reports, dashboards, process automation, and data models, while applying software quality standards and ensuring production support coverage.

Compensation

USD 100,000 - 130,000 per year

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement custom solutions on the Salesforce platform using Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning components to meet business requirements.
  • Customize Salesforce applications, including workflows, reports, dashboards, process automation, and data models.
  • Deliver high-quality solutions informed by cross-cutting requirements including business, performance, scalability, compatibility, internationalization, security, auditing, diagnostics and logging, and failover and disaster recovery.
  • Provide support during work and off hours for production issues, including defect fixes, data modifications, and emergency support.
  • Establish and implement standards and practices to ensure a high degree of software quality.
  • Interface with client teams to resolve development issues.
  • Collaborate with Business Analysis to elicit or review business requirements.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to determine how technology can enable growth and success.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in relevant work.
  • BS/BA in a relevant field or equivalent years of experience.
  • Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud, with hands-on knowledge of Agentforce for building and deploying AI-driven agent solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce development tools including Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and Salesforce APIs.
  • Experience with Salesforce configuration tools such as Process Builder, Flow Builder, and Workflow Rules.
  • Hands-on experience creating and customizing reports, dashboards, and data models within Salesforce.
  • Familiarity with web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript and modern JavaScript frameworks such as React and Angular (plus).
  • Experience integrating Salesforce with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs and middleware tools.
  • Experience using Salesforce data management tools including Data Loader and Data Import Wizard.
  • Strong customer engagement skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing client needs.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, communicate design rationale, and build consensus.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage work to critical timelines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Salesforce Certifications preferred.
  • Copado experience preferred.

  • Overnight travel requirements: None
  • Physical demands: Primarily sedentary with some light lifting of files possibly required.
