Job Description
TEKsystems is hiring a contract RPA Developer for an onsite role in Oklahoma City, OK. This position focuses on building, stabilizing, and maintaining enterprise automation using UiPath, with daily use of Cursor across the software development workflow.
Role Overview
The RPA Developer will deliver automation end-to-end, starting from validated business requirements and continuing through production deployment and ongoing support. The role emphasizes reliable UiPath delivery, durable incident resolution, and maintainable design practices in an enterprise environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop new UiPath automations based on validated business requirements through production deployment.
- Stabilize, troubleshoot, and improve existing production bots.
- Use Cursor every day to support development tasks including debugging, refactoring, testing, documentation, and integration work.
- Work independently while collaborating with business process owners, business analysts, IT teams, and security or infrastructure partners.
- Own work across discovery, design, development, testing, release, documentation, production support, and continuous improvement.
- Enter an existing enterprise environment, learn established standards quickly, and deliver with limited supervision.
- Analyze bot failures by reviewing logs, identifying root causes, and implementing durable corrective actions rather than one-off fixes.
- Build maintainable automations using reusable components, libraries, templates, and consistent development standards.
- Deliver from process assessment and requirements clarification through go-live and production support.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- UiPath Studio and UiPath Orchestrator development experience.
- Experience designing both attended and unattended automations.
- Hands-on knowledge of workflows and key automation capabilities including queues, triggers, retries, exception handling, logging, notifications, testing, deployment, and monitoring.
- Experience with Orchestrator environments including service accounts, secure credentials, permissions, assets, and production configuration.
- Experience with UiPath REFramework or a comparable enterprise automation framework.
- SQL and database skills, including SQL Server.
- Cursor used daily as part of a professional workflow, including repository navigation, workflow or code scaffolding, refactoring, debugging, test creation, documentation, and integration work.
- Ability to provide effective context and instructions to Cursor, validate outputs, and revise generated work to align with project standards.
- Maintain disciplined engineering practices when using Cursor, including code review, testing, security review, version control, documentation, and accountability for production changes.
- Understand safe use of AI assistance around proprietary code, credentials, sensitive data, and enterprise integrations.
- Be able to describe a specific example where Cursor improved delivery speed or quality while preserving reliability.
- Typically three or more years of automation development, software development, systems integration, or a related field (development experience required).
- Individual contributor with a delivery focus rather than primarily managerial responsibilities.
- Comfort owning work across discovery through continuous improvement and operating with limited supervision.
- Equivalent practical experience is more important than a specific degree or title.
