Job Description
Nextera Robotics is seeking a Robotics and AI Software Engineer focused on autonomous navigation, onsite in Boston, MA.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development of planning and control software for the autonomous mobile robot stack.
- Design and refine robust navigation techniques for new robot models.
- Collaborate with the Boston engineering team to bring products from concept to life.
Requirements
- Experience with localization, planning, and/or controls for drones or mobile robots in academic or industrial settings.
- Strong background in computer science, mathematics, or physics.
- Demonstrated programming proficiency across relevant languages and tools.
- Familiarity with robotics simulation environments and tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
