Job Description

Lockheed Martin is advancing aerospace training at its Fort Worth facility, where expert instruction and cutting-edge simulation shape aircrew proficiency. The Pilot Trainer Developer (Level 4) role focuses on designing, delivering, and continuously refining advanced training solutions that align with current and developing systems, ensuring mission readiness through technology-driven instruction.

This on-site position collaborates across test aircrew, engineers, and training specialists to design, implement, and document training materials and technical publications, while integrating modern instructional design trends into flight simulators and training devices.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver highly creative training courses for existing and developmental systems.
  • Provide all training to customer personnel at multiple locations.
  • Brief and train pilots, combat systems officers, and electronic warfare officers, as well as test and production crews and systems engineers, on aircraft and ground-system capabilities.
  • Collaborate with test aircrew, engineers, and simulation technicians to design, implement, evaluate, and document training and technical publications.
  • Incorporate the latest instructional-design trends into training aids such as flight simulators and part-task training devices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • Prior military Instructor/Evaluator Pilot or Combat Systems Officer or Naval Flight Officer or Electronic Warfare Officer experience employing tactical mission systems.
  • Experience with developing, planning, and facilitating training; experience instructing mission planning, execution, debriefing, communications, and ground control element operations.
  • Secret clearance required to start, with the ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret clearance per business requirements.
  • U.S. citizenship required due to facility access and security requirements.

Security Clearance

This position requires a government security clearance. You must be a US citizen to be considered.

Clearance Level

Secret with investigation or current clearance date within the last 5 years.

Work Schedule

Onsite, full-time with a 4x10 hour day schedule (four days on, three days off).
