Oracle Developer

Experienced Oracle Developer based in Hampton, VA (onsite) with a proven track record designing, developing, and maintaining Oracle based solutions across U.S. client environments, focusing on enterprise database and application development, with a salary range of USD 110,195 - 132,709 per year.

Responsibilities

• Architect, build, and deploy Oracle driven solutions to support client business systems
• Create and maintain database objects such as tables, views, procedures, and functions
• Work with stakeholders to elicit requirements and translate them into technical specifications
• Identify and fix Oracle database and application performance issues
• Enhance performance through query optimization and indexing strategies to improve system efficiency
• Perform code reviews and uphold coding standards to ensure quality deliverables
• Maintain data integrity, security, and backup/recovery procedures within Oracle environments
• Offer technical mentorship and support to internal team members and junior developers

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Oracle Developer or in a similar database role
• Strong knowledge of Oracle database architecture, design, and data modeling
• Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL programming
• Experience developing and managing database objects such as procedures, triggers, and packages
• Ability to troubleshoot complex database and performance issues independently
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills in a technical environment
• Effective communication skills and ability to work in team-based project settings
