Job Description

PwC Technology Consulting seeks a Senior Data Engineer - Senior Manager to translate data into strategic insights that inform client decisions. This leadership role directs cross functional teams to design and implement innovative solutions that improve business performance and sustain competitive advantage, while guiding project delivery with sound judgment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop innovative solutions that enhance business performance and sharpen competitive positioning, including roadmap planning.
  • Apply advanced analytics techniques to support client operations and strategic goals, leveraging AWS data engineering and Amazon Redshift.
  • Design, build, and maintain data pipelines and architectures to enable business intelligence, using DataStage and ETL processes.
  • Deploy data visualization tools to deliver actionable insights and improve client outcomes, utilizing SQL Server and DB2.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify data challenges and opportunities, aligning efforts with managed services and service level agreements.
  • Coach and motivate teams to tackle complex problems and deliver high quality results.
  • Apply systems thinking to uncover underlying issues and opportunities within client projects, including workload orchestration and scheduling.
  • Validate outcomes with clients and respond to feedback to refine solutions, focusing on client satisfaction and performance tuning.
  • Guide teams through ambiguous and challenging situations with composure and sound judgment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree is required.
  • Minimum of 6 years of professional experience.
