Job Description
Join ServiceNow as part of the Moveworks team in Mountain View, CA, onsite. You will help strengthen a search-based question-answering platform by advancing ranking, information retrieval, and natural language processing, working closely with product, UX, and engineering teams to deliver meaningful impact. The role sits in a collaborative environment that emphasizes cross-functional partnership and continuous learning. Salary range: USD 139,700 - 216,500 per year.

What you will do
- Craft new ranking features and optimize existing ones to improve relevance metrics
- Develop an algorithm framework to support diversified ranking features
- Design platform tooling that enables parallel ranking experiments
- Develop metrics to evaluate ranking performance
Requirements
- First-hand experience with traditional information retrieval techniques or machine learning based ranking models
- Ability to derive insights from query logs analysis and identify opportunities to improve search quality
- Background in text processing, information retrieval, natural language understanding, or machine learning
