Lead Vue/Nuxt/Azure Developer

The Lead Vue/Nuxt/Azure Developer position focuses on designing and maintaining web applications and cloud resources, leveraging Vue, Nuxt, TypeScript, and Microsoft Azure for Midlands Testing Services, Inc.

Requirements

• Extensive expertise with Vue, Nuxt, Nuxt UI, and TypeScript
• Extensive expertise with Azure resources such as Functions, Web Sites, Managed SQL, and networking
• Extensive expertise in relational database design
• Extensive expertise with SQL ORMs along with SQL queries, table structures, foreign keys, and stored procedures (MySQL or SQL Server)
• Extensive expertise with containers including Docker, Docker Compose, Dockerfile, Traefik, and YAML
• Extensive experience with software development workflows: Git, branching, merging, PRs, CI/CD pipelines, and story lifecycle
• Extensive knowledge of programming design patterns
• Strong skills in JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, DOM, and CSS
• Extensive understanding of web API design concepts and technologies
• Extensive knowledge of web protocols, formats, and concepts such as HTTP, AJAX, JSON, cookies, and session management
• Moderate experience with AI development tools including GitHub Copilot, OpenCode, or Anthropic
• Ability to read and understand PHP, Python, or other scripting languages
• Understanding of UI and UX concepts, including task-focused design, cognitive load, and affordance
• Proficiency with preferred code editors such as VS Code, Visual Studio, or JetBrains products
• Proficiency with software testing patterns
• Proficiency with browser-based debugging tools (for example, F12)
• Ability to sit or stand at a workstation for most of the day
• Capacity to maintain focus for several hours on medium to complex software tasks
• Clear communication skills, both spoken and written
• Ability to lift and carry up to 15 pounds, such as a monitor or computer
• Enjoys software development and likely maintains a personal side project
• Strong emphasis on teamwork and collaborative work style
