  • Serve as lead developer for a cross-functional remote team, including setting technical direction, reviewing production code, and mentoring engineers.
  • Develop and maintain CQRS and event-driven systems backed by PostgreSQL.
  • Implement caching layers such as Redis and asynchronous I/O pipelines to deliver and optimize large datasets.
  • Ensure platform availability and error-free operations during peak filing seasons, including timely data publication.
  • Build, deploy, and troubleshoot containerized microservices on Kubernetes in a highly elastic environment.
  • Maintain AWS environments and deploy and update services using AWS CDK.
  • Deliver high-quality output through automated testing and continuous delivery.
  • Use GitHub for source control, planning, and open-source collaboration.
  • Support operations with metrics, monitoring, and orchestration.
  • Help develop and maintain authentication and authorization services that follow federal best practices.
  • Partner with product, DevOps, QA, and business analysis teams to deliver features and shared platform components.
