Lead Python Developer

Lead Python Developer role in Irving, TX (hybrid) focused on scalable Generative AI solutions for enterprise platforms.

Responsibilities

• Own the design, development, and adoption of scalable AI solutions that speed up software development and data engineering processes
• Partner with stakeholders to integrate Generative AI capabilities into enterprise platforms
• Lead and mentor development teams while building robust Python applications in cloud environments, primarily AWS
• Assess emerging AI technologies to continuously improve solutions and maintain a competitive edge
• Deliver secure, high-impact tools aimed at improving productivity and business outcomes

Requirements

• 6+ years of Python software development experience in enterprise organizations
• Experience applying Generative AI, including:
  • Prompt design
  • Retrieval-Augmented Generation
  • Embeddings & vector stores
  • AI agents
• Data-centric engineering experience building services and tools inside a data engineering organization
• A data-first mindset with an understanding of enterprise data system challenges
• Proven ability to build and scale software solutions in cloud environments, with AWS preferred
