Jr Android Mobile Developer

Adidev Technologies Inc is looking for an entry to mid-senior iOS and Android developer to design, build, and maintain large-scale client applications. This onsite role is client-assignment driven, with mandatory relocation for 6 to 18 month engagements and the potential for extensions.

Working as part of a delivery-focused team, you will collaborate to define and ship new mobile features, maintain performance and code quality, and keep projects moving with clear milestone tracking. The role also involves hands-on development, testing, and ongoing communication with clients throughout each assignment.

Role overview

• Position: Entry to mid-senior-level iOS and Android Developers
• Location: Atlanta, GA (onsite). Remote positions are not available.
• Relocation: Mandatory for client assignments spanning 6 to 18 months, with possible extensions
• Compensation: USD $30 to $40 per hour (depending on experience)
• Employment: Full-time (W2 or Contract 1099), 40 hours per week

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and enhance applications for either the iOS or Android platform
• Maintain application performance, quality, and responsiveness
• Collaborate with a team to define, design, and implement new features
• Identify bottlenecks, fix bugs, and maintain code quality
• Establish effective communication with clients and keep expectations aligned
• Provide accurate project milestones and timelines, including gathering requirements
• Complete coding tests or challenges as required
• Maintain consistent communication via phone, text, and email
• Suggest improvements to existing apps
• Deliver projects on time and communicate any changes promptly
• Maintain positive rapport with all clients

Requirements

• Open to relocating to new cities or states based on client assignments (typically 6 to 18 months, with possible extensions)
• Entry to mid-senior-level iOS and Android developers with minimum 1 to 2 years of experience
• Strong understanding of MVC / MVVM architectural patterns
• Proficiency in Java and Kotlin (at least 1 year of experience)
• Published at least 1 application on the Play Store
• Familiarity with Android SDK, various Android versions, and screen size adaptability
• Testing framework experience with Espresso and JUnit
• Knowledge of mobile data storage using SQLite and Room
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs for back-end integration
• Comfortable with GIT and SVN for source control
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Innate work ethic and self-leadership skills
• A portfolio featuring impactful application releases is a significant advantage
