Job Description
Openkyber is seeking an experienced Java SDK and library developer for an onsite role in Georgia. The position centers on the design and development of the PA Unified Crash System, leveraging Angular, Java, Spring Boot, GIS, and Azure Functions to deliver robust SDKs and libraries.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the design and development of the PA Unified Crash System.
- Collaborate under the direction of the Technical Lead and Application Architect to implement, test, and document features using Angular, Java, Spring Boot, GIS, and Azure Functions.
Requirements
- 8+ years of hands-on experience with frontend frameworks and UI technologies, with Angular (preferably Angular 14 or higher).
- Responsive UI design with Bootstrap (optional) and Material Design libraries.
- Prior experience with jQuery is a plus.
- Backend development with Java and Spring Boot in a microservices architecture.
- RESTful API design and integration.
- GIS integrations and spatial data handling.
- Testing with JUnit.
- Favorable: Jasmine and Karma.
- PostGIS-based data design for reporting layers.
- PostgreSQL or other database management systems.
- Cloud and DevOps with an Azure focus.
- Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
- Azure API Management.
- Azure DevOps for CI/CD.
- Containerization with Docker.
- Azure Data Factory tools and environments.
- ArcGIS Online (AGOL).
- ArcGIS Extension plugin for WebEOC.
- VS Code or Eclipse or Spring Tool Suite (STS).
- Git or Azure Repos for source control and collaboration.
- Experience with Esri ArcGIS Maps API/SDK for JavaScript.
- Knowledge of ArcPro/ArcObjects, GeoEvent Processor, Velocity, Experience Builder, Survey123, and Field Maps.
- Experience with ArcGIS Enterprise Server and ArcGIS Online/Hub/Community as an administrator.
- Experience in designing and developing geocodes and geoprocessing services.
- Knowledge of Esri ArcSDE and multi-user versioning with state trees and branch versioning.
- Knowledge of linear referencing systems and methods, Esri Roads and Highways, Oracle Locator/Spatial.
- Understanding of responsive and mobile-first development.
- Knowledge of design patterns and SOLID principles.
- Knowledge of digital accessibility and disability inclusion, and related regulations (Section 508, ADA) and WCAG 2.1 AA.
- Experience designing for platform technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, iOS, Android).
- Experience applying WAI-ARIA guidelines and best practices.
- Experience optimizing accessibility across platforms (HTML, iOS, Android).
- Experience developing digital products that comply with accessibility standards.
- 2+ years of experience with PostgreSQL.
- Experience incorporating accessibility tests into the development process.
- Experience delivering digital products where accessibility compliance is part of the definition of done.
