Ground Software Engineer Stf

Lockheed Martin Space in Littleton, Colorado is seeking a seasoned Ground Software Engineer (Level 4) to design, implement, and sustain object-oriented ground system software within an Agile DevSecOps environment. This role supports modernization efforts aimed at boosting efficiency, security, automation, and scalability, collaborating with an energetic team of software, systems, and test engineers. A TS/SCI clearance is required, reflecting the critical nature of the work and the program heritage.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, test, and maintain object-oriented ground system software applications using Java, C#, Rust, Angular, and Python
• Support modernization efforts to enhance efficiency, security, automation, and scalability
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of software, systems, and test engineers using Agile Development methodologies

Requirements

• Strong software development background with a track record of delivering successful projects
• Experience developing ground subsystems
• Cloud and containerization experience with a solid understanding of distributed systems and scalability
• Experience developing microservices
• Demonstrated expertise in Scaled Agile development methodologies and excellent communication for cross-team collaboration
• Current TS clearance prior to start and ability to obtain SCI
• US Citizenship required; government security clearance required

Compensation and Logistics

Location: Littleton, CO (onsite)

Salary: USD 113,900 - 200,905 per year

Experience level: 5+ years
