Ground Software Engineer Sr.

Lockheed Martin's ground software team in King of Prussia, PA is seeking a Senior Ground Software Engineer to help design and deliver enterprise, cloud‑based ground system software for mission management and command‑and‑control. This on‑site role operates within an Agile, DevSecOps framework and requires an active TS/SCI clearance. The successful candidate will collaborate across Java, Angular and Python to build scalable solutions that meet stringent security requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop enterprise, cloud‑based solutions for mission management and command‑and‑control systems
• Design, implement, test, and maintain object‑oriented ground software applications using Java, Angular, and Python
• Support modernization efforts aimed at increasing efficiency, security, automation, and scalability
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of software, systems, and test engineers within an Agile Development environment

Requirements

• BS degree and at least 3 years of software development experience
• Experience developing ground subsystems
• Demonstrated expertise in Scaled Agile development with strong communication for cross‑team collaboration
• Active TS clearance required to be considered, with the ability to obtain an SCI
