Job Description
Infosys is hiring a Technology Consultant 2 for end-to-end software development work with a focus on stability and software quality in Raleigh, NC (onsite).
Responsibilities
- Support requirements elicitation by documenting assigned portions of business requirements in line with provided guidance
- Lead and participate in software application design discussions; capture and document design decisions to guide implementation
- Write code and integrate new features or updates into existing applications while prioritizing system stability
- Perform code reviews; implement changes to the codebase and maintain code repositories
- Create and execute test strategies; analyze results and coordinate bug fixes to meet software quality standards
- Develop user training materials, documentation, and support frameworks to enable a smooth transition to new software applications
- Participate in production issue resolution and propose preventive approaches to improve reliability
- Maintain detailed records of code, testing techniques, and support activities to strengthen the knowledge base across similar projects
