Job Description

This role is for a Senior Full-Stack .NET and Desktop Applications Developer supporting IT solutions and services. The work includes RESTful APIs, event-driven C#.NET services, mobile and Android features, and modernization efforts moving legacy systems toward cloud-based .NET and Windows application platforms. This is a contract to hire position based in Greensboro, NC.

Responsibilities

  • Convert operational requirements into detailed functional and technical specifications.
  • Build and maintain RESTful APIs and event-driven C#.NET services to support mobile features.
  • Design and develop Android applications, including native integrations.
  • Design, configure, test, and deploy IT solutions that support production, quality, maintenance, engineering, and warehouse operations.
  • Support modernization efforts from legacy platforms to cloud across .NET and Windows-based applications.
  • Deliver IT services using ITIL-aligned practices, including incidents, problem, and change management.
  • Support legacy Microsoft frameworks and related stacks, including classic VB6, ASP, VBScript, an Angular web stack, SQL Server, and Windows Server.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of Microsoft IT development experience supporting operational and technology environments.
  • 7+ years of SQL Server database development supporting systems.
  • 1+ years of professional desktop and mobile development experience.
  • Willingness to submit to a pre-employment, post-offer background check and drug test.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with any ERP systems within a retail environment is preferred.

Contract Details, Location, and Pay

This is a Contract to Hire position based in Greensboro, NC. The role is fully onsite.

The pay range for this position is $51.67 - $74.86/hr. Individual compensation within this range will depend on factors including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other job-related considerations.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
