Job Description

Join GrabAGun and help power a high-volume eCommerce platform as a full-stack developer focused on PHP, MySQL, and JavaScript. This role is 100% on-site in North Dallas (Galleria Towers) and/or Farmers Branch, TX, where you will design, build, and continuously improve applications that must stay fast, reliable, and scalable.

You will work across the stack, from frontend through backend to the database, collaborating with internal teams to deliver new features and enhancements. If you enjoy solving complex problems and improving development workflows with modern tools, including AI-assisted processes, this position supports both engineering depth and practical impact on revenue and operations.

Responsibilities

  • Own the design, development, and support of full-stack applications in a PHP/MySQL/JavaScript environment.
  • Build scalable, high-performance systems to support a high-volume eCommerce platform.
  • Troubleshoot complex issues across frontend, backend, and database layers.
  • Write clean, maintainable, efficient code following OOP and OOD best practices.
  • Optimize application performance, database queries, and system reliability.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to design and deliver new features and enhancements.
  • Integrate third-party APIs, services, and payment systems.
  • Contribute to architectural decisions and help evolve the technical stack over time.
  • Leverage AI tools and workflows to improve development speed, quality, and automation.

Requirements

  • 3-6+ years of experience developing commercial-grade applications in PHP.
  • Strong proficiency in PHP, MySQL, and JavaScript across the full stack.
  • Deep understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) and object-oriented design (OOD).
  • Proven ability to build scalable, maintainable, performant systems.
  • Experience working across frontend, backend, and database layers.
  • Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Familiarity with version control (Git) and modern development workflows.
  • Experience leveraging AI in a development capacity (code generation, automation, testing, etc.).

Nice to Have
