ERP Software Developer

National Fuel Gas Company is hiring an ERP Software Developer for a hybrid role with an onsite requirement at its Williamsville, NY headquarters.

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements and user stories to design appropriate software solutions
• Configure, code, and test software solutions
• Analyze and resolve software application issues
• Perform root cause analysis to address application problems
• Communicate verbally and in writing with internal business partners and other IT staff
• Work in a hybrid capacity with onsite requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field
• High level of initiative, professionalism, and leadership with strong interpersonal and communications skills
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with moderate-to-strong technical competencies
• Ability to learn a variety of new technologies
• Ability to work independently and stay well-organized in a quickly changing environment
• Ability to prioritize and execute tasks effectively

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in environments using Agile and Kanban

• Experience with best practices in Object Oriented full-stack development tools; Oracle PeopleTools software development technology is a plus
• Knowledge of business processes and concepts in ERP Financials (AP, AR, Purchasing, Inventory, GL) or PeopleSoft experience is a plus

Compensation and Benefits

• Base salary: $82,000 - $106,000 per year
