Job Description

A remote contract role based in Anchorage, AK for an Embedded Systems Developer - AI Trainer to help train AI models.

Responsibilities

  • Design and solve diverse coding problems used to train AI systems by crafting test cases that probe algorithms, data handling, and edge conditions.
  • Write clear, high quality code snippets in supported languages with explanations that illuminate logic, chosen approaches, and tradeoffs.
  • Evaluate AI generated code for accuracy, performance, and clarity, then document findings to guide model improvements.
  • Provide actionable feedback that directly shapes the next generation of AI models, including recommended fixes and enhancement notes.

Requirements

  • Fluency in English at native or bilingual level to ensure precise communication, documentation, and feedback.
  • Proficiency in at least one of the following languages or frameworks: JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, C, C#, C++, React, Go, Java, Kotlin, or Swift.
  • Excellent writing and grammar skills, with ability to produce clear explanations and technical notes.
  • A bachelor’s degree (completed or in progress) in a related field.
  • Previous experience as a Software Developer, Coder, Software Engineer, or Programmer is preferred, demonstrating proven coding ability.
