Job Description

Based in Orlando, Florida, this role focuses on developing embedded C++ software for sensor-driven programs within an Agile environment, with on-site work at Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement embedded software solutions
  • Integrate algorithms into C/C++ applications
  • Plan, execute, and coordinate software development activities
  • Design, develop, document, test, and debug software that provides logical and mathematical solutions to mission or business questions using data processing systems
  • Apply knowledge of computer hardware, software, domain subject matter, information processing techniques, and user input to develop software for business or mission applications
  • Identify and correct program defects, prepare operating instructions, compile development documentation, and analyze system capabilities to resolve questions about program intent, outputs, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls

Requirements

  • Specialization in embedded software
  • Proficiency in C++
  • Experience with object oriented design
  • Operating systems: Linux or VxWorks
  • Must hold an interim Secret clearance to start, with the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance
  • U.S. citizenship is required
