Job Description
Based in Orlando, Florida, this role focuses on developing embedded C++ software for sensor-driven programs within an Agile environment, with on-site work at Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement embedded software solutions
- Integrate algorithms into C/C++ applications
- Plan, execute, and coordinate software development activities
- Design, develop, document, test, and debug software that provides logical and mathematical solutions to mission or business questions using data processing systems
- Apply knowledge of computer hardware, software, domain subject matter, information processing techniques, and user input to develop software for business or mission applications
- Identify and correct program defects, prepare operating instructions, compile development documentation, and analyze system capabilities to resolve questions about program intent, outputs, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls
Requirements
- Specialization in embedded software
- Proficiency in C++
- Experience with object oriented design
- Operating systems: Linux or VxWorks
- Must hold an interim Secret clearance to start, with the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance
